Flexible
My body is tired. I did not hitting pace on my speed work Monday or my tempo run today. My bike Tuesday went well but it was suppose to be slower. Tomorrow the plan calls for a bike and a swim. I am skipping them and resting. I have a 20 miler on schedule for Friday, which might have to be done on the treadmill AGAIN!!! Yuck. More adjustments will be made next week to prepare for the Tom King half marathon. Flexible-I am trying!

It's good to recognize when you need to recover a bit rather than plow on and getting injured or sick. A day of rest can do wonders.
Listen to what your body is telling you...and remember, you ran a very difficult marathon course less than 4 weeks ago.
Take it easy, Michele. The running will come back soon.
Yep. I agree with the previous responses. The body tells you when it needs rest and it sounds like it's screaming at you. REST!

Michele - I'll be right there with you (on the other side of the world though...) doing the 20 on the treadmill...ugh.
You are smart to take the rest now...you have a great plan in place.

20 miles on the treadmill. Isn't that what they do to POW's to get them to talk?
