Yesterday we did a group ride leaving from the Rec Center at 2:00. We ended up riding about 26.6 miles in just over 2 hours. It was a nice easy ride and my legs felt great. I am so loving my new bike skirt. Highly recommend.
This morning I met Lana at the Westwood track for our speed work.
The plan:
10-20 minute warm up
2 x 1200 (2 minute rest interval) Target 5:40
4 x 800 (2 minute rest interval) Target 3:39
10 minute cool down
The actual:
Warm up 1.76 miles 18:31 including a pit stop to the nice new bathrooms
1200’s – 5:37 and 5:40
800’s – 3:36, 3:31, 3:40, and 3:39
Cool Down 1.00 in 8:56
I spent the whole time chasing Lana, but it really pushed me and I FINALLY hit target!!!!!
