Oh So Close

This morning the plan called for
10-20 minute warm up
2 x (6 x 400m) (1:30 RI)
(2:30 RI between sets)
10 minute cool down
Target pace on the 400s was 1:47

I went to Westwood track at 5:00 this morning. I had sent Lana a text message last night and I was really hoping she would show up. I knew by the time I finished my warm up that I was on my own and would just have to push myself.
Warm up 2 miles 19:25
First set
1:45, 1:43, 1:44, 1:46, 1:46, 1:44
Second set
1:48, 1:48, 1:45, 1:44, 1:48, 1:45
Cool down 1 mile 10:03
Funny how the first two 400 after the extra rest period were 2 of the 3 slowest. Go figure.
